Main HighlightsUndertake research; provide advice and services on land tenure issues, as well as associated policies and practices.Preparation of land tenure reports, plans and geospatial data to assist with informed decision-making.Maintain the integrity and improvement of textual and geospatial databases or systems.

Apply your practical knowledge and operational experience in geospatial information management, land administration, titling or survey to provide timely advice and services on related matters. The Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics (DIPL) was established in 2016 to bring together many of the key functions that drive land use, infrastructure and transport.

The Agency aims to drive the sustainable, economic and social advancement of the Northern Territory through land use and transport planning, infrastructure investment and effective logistics supply chains. As a Land Information Officer provide authoritative land tenure advice and services, on land and / or significant land developments potentially affected by the rights and interests of Aboriginal people. Applying your communication and geospatial skills you will also be responsible for preparing the reports and plans, as well as ensuring the integrity of relevant textual and geospatial databases or systems.

To be successful you require demonstrated capability in researching and critically evaluating land survey and tenure records; preparation of complex reports, maps, as well as using and maintain geospatial information applications, databases or systems.

You will also need the ability to interactive effectively in a team, and with a range of people from diverse backgrounds.
