Based in Murarrie, this diverse role strives to provide high quality support to our Sales and Technical personnel with a focus on Reciprocating Gas Engines and Compressors. A background working in the Oil and Gas industry with knowledge of Waukesha and Caterpillar Gas Engines will be highly regarded but not essential.

• - Providing internal and external mechanical engineering support to key stakeholders such as project managers, project and sales engineers, service technicians and customers
• Recommending designs that meet customer’s project/tender specifications/needs
• Supporting project teams by leading review of project specifications and scope(s) of works
• Interfacing with contractors, vendors and HOERBIGER personnel across different functional areas and locations
• Staying updated with latest products and technologies
• Reviewing project scopes and technical specifications so to apply the design criteria and methodologies to the engineering documents.
• Preparing engineering data sheets, requisitions and technical bid evaluation reports for mechanical equipment
• Reviewing vendor deliverables/ drawings and ensuring deliverables comply with project specification(s) and Australian standards
• Monitoring and reporting on Engineering Projects
• Visiting sites to resolve technical issues during installation/construction stage
• Maintaining compliance with the Company's ISO qualifications in Quality , Safety and Environment in performing the role Please ensure that any application includes a cover letter that specifically addresses the requirements plus a resume showing your current qualifications and experience.

• Completed Tertiary education in Mechanical Engineering (Degree or similar)
• Waukesha / Caterpillar and/or Ariel qualifications (highly regarded)
• Previous industry experience preferred
• minimum 5 years with gas engines and compressor systems
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong technical writing skills
• Proficient with Microsoft office products
• Ability to deal with a versatile range of tasks with excellent attention to detail
