About the positionWe are looking for a driven WHS Administrator to join our ever-growing VIKING Australia team based in Bibra Lake, WA.
As the WHS Administrator, your primary responsibilities will be:
- Ensuring all service stations remain compliant with local and federal safety laws and regulations, as well as keeping in line with VIKING standards
- Maintaining accurate record keeping using the VIKING online systems
- Driving and supporting safety initiatives and safety awareness
- Facilitate internal refresher training
- Investigate and monitor workplace incidents, working closely with the relevant team manager, HR, Finance, and Country Director to assist with corrective actions and any return to work arrangements
- Manage plant and equipment maintenance (Bibra Lake specific)
- Foster and maintain good working relationships with all service stations to support their WHS needs
- Maintain WHS policies/procedures in line with current safety standards
- Manage QHSE performance indicators
- Ad hoc travel to connect with the teams based in Karratha WA, Gladstone QLD, and Caringbah NSW service stations.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 18 months in a similar role with hands on experience
- Australian recognised qualification in a related discipline or field
- Knowledge of current Australian legislation and Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) framework
- Experience with Microsoft software and cloud based safety management systems
- Strong communications skills
- Good analysing and decision-making skills
- Eligible to live and work in Australia long-term
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 would be beneficial.
