Job Description
  • Obtaining leads through your network, social media, and ad campaigns, and converting those leads into new opportunities
  • Building and maintaining client relationships and networking with potential clients at industry events, seminars, trade shows, new venue openings and by cold calling
  • Lots of cold calling and cold call-ins to bars, restaurants, cafes, and clubs!
  • Following up with prospects and current clients
  • Face-to-face sales and interactions
  • On the road travel
  • Assisting with budgets and forecasts for our Sales team

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

  • Minimum 2 years sales exp (in the hospitality industry would be an added bonus)
  • A background in hospitality, would be an added bonus
  • You're a natural communicator - people quickly warm to you
  • You can show initiative and are self-motivated
  • You can work autonomously
  • You have a great sense of fun!
  • You have the ability to travel throughout Queensland to visit client venues
