Full Time Corporate Services Manager – Position Description

The Corporate Services Manager is responsible for providing strategic and high-level operational support to senior management. This includes offering expert advice on key administrative functions such as workforce planning, budgeting, facilities management, and information services.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing strategic and operational guidance to senior leadership on matters related to administration, human resources, finance, facilities, and information services.
  • Managing and optimising the organisation’s financial, physical, and human resources to align with business objectives.
  • Analysing complex issues related to resource management, identifying areas for improvement, and preparing detailed reports, correspondence, and submissions.
  • Developing and implementing internal procedures, financial controls, and operational policies to ensure consistency and compliance across the organisation.
  • Representing the organisation in negotiations and external engagements, including conferences, public forums, and seminars, to support and promote organisational initiatives.
  • Assisting in the preparation and review of budgets, financial statements, and strategic planning documentation.
  • Leading and mentoring administrative teams to ensure efficient workflow, compliance with organisational procedures, and the delivery of timely, accurate information.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience and attributes:
  • Tertiary qualification in business administration, management, finance, human resources or an appropriate discipline or equivalent formal studies.
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams and drive organisational change.
  • Experience in risk management and ensuring compliance.
  • Impact and influencing skills essential.
  • Solid communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritise, negotiate and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail with exceptional organisational skills and capabilities in terms of prioritising work and meeting deadlines.
  • High-level problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges.
  • Well-developed people skills i.e., emotional intelligence, optimism, courage, humility, patience along with negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Flexible with strategic and analytical thinking skills.
  • Technologically savvy with advanced skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
