About Our Client

This is a hands-on, full-time Accounts Manager position ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility and enjoys a varied workload. You'll be instrumental in leading the day-to-day financial operations and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and accounting standards.

Job Description
  • Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable and Receivable (AP/AR) functions
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with superannuation, PAYG, and tax obligations
  • Prepare and lodge BAS statements, ensuring accurate reporting in line with ATO requirements
  • Reconcile all financial transactions and maintain accurate records across ledgers
  • Produce and review key financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and distribution reports
  • Assist with tax compliance, including preparation of necessary documentation and working with external advisors
  • Manage banking and financial transactions, including cash flow tracking and investment management
  • Liaise directly with clients to handle financial queries and provide expert support
  • Support the senior leadership team with reporting and strategic financial insight
The Successful Applicant
  • Proven experience in a similar finance/accounting role with strong end-to-end payroll and AP/AR knowledge
  • Sound understanding of PAYG, BAS, superannuation, and tax compliance
  • Proficiency in Xero; experience with other accounting systems a bonus
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and an ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - confident working with both clients and internal teams
  • A self-starter with a positive, proactive mindset and the ability to work autonomously
  • Formal qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline are desirable
