Warehouse and Admin Officer

This is a combination of warehousing and order processing for a mature and experienced storeperson.

Warehouse Tasks:
  • General management of warehouse – to ensure the stock items stored/shelved properly
  • Receive items delivered from suppliers and ensure it matches with delivery docket
  • Imported container – Unload and palletize items received and ensure quantities received is the same as supplier’s packing list. Hight light and discrepancies
  • Manage inventory control and physical stock take as required
  • Order processing requires lifting and handling of items up to 25Kg
  • Keep office and warehouse areas clean and tidy
Order Processing:
  • Review of daily customer orders received by email
  • Check stock availability and correctness of the order
  • Prepare tax invoice/delivery docket for the order (Quickbooks)
  • Pick items from the designated warehouse location. If required pack items (Strapping or Palletizing)
  • Measure and weight each item to be dispatched
  • Book dispatch with appropriate courier company using appropriate software
  • Print dispatch labels
  • Attach delivery docket/tax invoice with distich label to box 1
  • Arrange pickup with courier company
  • Help courier truck driver with loading items
  • File office copy of dispatch dockets
Client Inquires
  • Respond to client telephone call and written (email) inquiries
  • If required, prepare and send product samples to current or potential customers
  • Support office staff with their requirements
  • Help with on-line sales through website and ebay
Skills:
  • Be able to respond incoming and outgoing calls professionally
  • Courteous, friendly, supportive with everyone
  • Microsoft Office - Basic understanding and experience with outlook, word and excel
  • Ebay Profile Maintenance
  • Quick Books Inventory Management – Training will be provided
  • Dispatching/labelling System - Training will be provided
