This role requires expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performing, scalable LAN/WAN and SD-WAN architectures, with a strong emphasis on Palo Alto security technologies.The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in network engineering, with hands-on proficiency in OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs, and optionally Cisco ACI. A deep understanding of Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and cloud security solutions is essential.

Responsibilities
Design and Architecture
Develop, implement, and maintain high-performing, scalable, and secure LAN/WAN and SD-WAN network architectures to meet business and technical requirements.Create detailed network designs, including diagrams, configurations, and documentation for routing, switching, and security technologies.
Routing, Switching, and WAN Technologies
Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced core routing and switching technologies, including but not limited to OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and VLANs.Design and optimize LAN/WAN infrastructures for scalability, high availability, and redundancy.
Deploy and manage SD-WAN solutions to ensure efficient and secure connectivity across distributed environments.
Security Integration
Implement and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.Collaborate with the security team to integrate and manage Cisco and Palo Alto security technologies, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.
Design, implement, and optimize Palo Alto security architectures, including next-generation firewalls, Prisma Access, GlobalProtect VPNs, and threat prevention strategies.
Configure and manage Palo Alto Networks Panorama for centralized firewall management and automation.
Conduct security assessments and audits to ensure Palo Alto solutions are properly deployed and aligned with best practices.
Troubleshooting and Support
Lead incident resolution for complex network issues, providing Level 3/4 escalation support.Monitor network performance and proactively address potential issues to minimize downtime.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain comprehensive documentation of network designs, configurations, and changes.Provide regular reports on network performance, utilization, and security.
Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, developers, and security engineers, to ensure seamless integration of network systems.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience- 10 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Technical Skills
Expertise in core routing and switching (e.g., OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs).Proficiency in LAN/WAN and SD-WAN technologies.
Hands-on experience with Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) technologies.
Extensive experience with Palo Alto security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and cloud security solutions.
Familiarity with SDN concepts and data center networking.
Certifications (Desirable)
CCNP/CCIE (Routing & Switching, Data Center, or Enterprise)Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
Cisco Certified Specialist (ACI or Security)
