• Design and implement secure networking solutions to meet organisational objectives.
• Collaborate with IT and management teams to determine networking needs.
• Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams and documentation.
• Identify potential issues and proactively propose strategies for network optimisation.
• Manage network-related projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Provide network support to internal teams and assist in troubleshooting network-related problems.
• Ensure network security measures are in place and update them as necessary.
• Stay updated on emerging network technologies and trends in the public sector.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Network Architect should have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in network architecture, design, and implementation minimum of 5 years
• Strong knowledge of network security protocols and tools (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Prisma)
• Experience with Cloud Networking
• CCNP Certified or equivalent experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex network issues.
• Exceptional communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.

• A daily rate of approximately AUD 950-1111 per day
• Long term contract
