Our client Qaco Pty Ltd, is looking for a Contracts Administrator to join their busy Project Team.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, he will collaborate with a team of professionals and administrative staff to efficiently and effectively carry out the responsibilities of a Contracts Administrator. This role involves a variety of tasks related to contract management, project coordination, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulating, evaluating, and negotiating changes to contracts, programs, projects, and services.
  • Addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to contracts, programs, projects, and services.
  • Managing documentation associated with contracts, programs, projects, and services.
  • Collaborating with Project Managers, Architects, Engineering Professionals, owners, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Offering guidance to senior management on critical matters and implementing their decisions.
  • Supervising contractor work, reporting on deviations from work orders, and overseeing project contracts to ensure adherence to program timelines.
  • Drafting and scrutinizing submissions and reports in accordance with legislation, company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Collecting and analyzing project data, reporting on project outcomes.
  • Assessing and coordinating new office accommodations.
  • Playing a legal role in dispute resolution processes, among other responsibilities as outlined.
Qualification and Work Experience Requirements:
  • Education:
o A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Education, Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Experience:
o A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a Contract Administrator role or a highly related field. This includes experience in contract negotiation, project management, and working in a complex, collaborative environment.
  • Skills & Expertise:

o Strong knowledge of contract law, project management principles, and the construction or project-based industries.

o Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and legal standards.

o Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills to work effectively with contractors, stakeholders, and senior management.

Salary Range: AUD $85,000 to AUD $115,000 per annum
