Located in the vibrant Chatswood Chase precinct, we pride ourselves on consistency, fresh ingredients, and a dynamic team culture.
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Full-Time Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will bring strong technical skills, creativity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards
Responsibilities include:
- Plan, organise, and direct the preparation and cooking of food in a busy café kitchen.
- Design and contribute to menu development, ensuring dishes are innovative, cost-effective, and aligned with customer preferences.
- Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including training and mentoring junior team members.
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier liaison to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and WHS requirements.
- Assist in maintaining kitchen operations, including rostering support and workflow efficiency.
- Enforcing sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant Qualifications in Cookery
- Minimum 1 years relevant experience.
- Excellent time management abilities.
- Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.
- Familiarity with sanitation regulations.
Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $90,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
