The role commences immediately, commencing as a 6-month contract with the view of transitioning to something more permanent.

Job Description

The role will include but not be limited to:

• Conducting maturity assessment of current risk framework and its declination/adoption in the BU and functions
• Updating framework/ policy, clarifying roles and responsibilities, developing tools/ templates to be used and creating related training and guidance for effective use and understanding of the framework and its policy as well as work with the business to implement and maintain.
• Validating material and strategic risks for the business as well as providing advice and challenging risk, controls, and treatments
• Challenging, aligning, and streamlining risk appetite and key risk indicators to material risks
• Developing and implementing escalation process and consequence management
• Developing process to identify and analyze emerging risks and potential impacts to the organisation
• Performing risk deep dives
• Revisiting risk reporting and dashboards to ELT and assisting with preparation of the Risk Committee papers
• Exploring use of a GRC tool

The Successful Applicant

A successful Risk & Compliance Analyst should have:

• A degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Consulting experience or experience within industry
• Strong knowledge of risk management and regulatory compliance in the industrial manufacturing sector.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High proficiency in risk assessment and management strategies.
• Good understanding of Australian industrial laws and regulations.
• Intermediate excel skills
