We offer a high-quality selection of breakfast and lunch meals, and also open for evening dining during the summer months and on special occasions, providing a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere for our guests.
We are currently seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring a top-tier dining experience for our customers.
Full Time Restaurant ManagerSalary range: $75,000 - $85,000 + Superannuation
DUTIES:- To assist in the recruitment, induction and training of Kitchen & Floor staff
- Setting, implementing, and reviewing service standards
- Provide advice and support to senior staff with policy and procedures
- Rostering and staff management
- Driving revenue and maintaining budgets
- Responsible for stock movement
- Maintaining a modern menu and beverage list
- Monitoring and setting production and quality standards
- Controlling stock and wages through effective staff rostering
- Coaching and developing the team to deliver consistently exceptional service
- Monitoring stock through stock control and stock takes
- To liaise with all suppliers, building relationships and managing accounts to ensure KPI’s are met
- To play a key role in the consistent delivery of high-end restaurant quality Service
- To work with and alongside management and Directors to ensure the directional growth of the business is achieved
- To be available for key events as they arise
- Oversee and supervise all FOH staff
- To meet industry guidelines regarding appearance and personal hygiene
- To ensure the on-going training of wait staff
- Give staff feedback on their performance to enable staff development
- Ensure any staffing issues are resolved fairly and quickly
- Ensure staff are always aware of and follow safe work practices and that the FOH team is compliant to relevant laws and regulations
- The position will require flexible hours of work, including weekends and public holidays.
- A relevant diploma or higher qualification in Restaurant Management
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience
- Demonstrate experience in hiring, directing and supervising the training of all service/bar staff
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner
- Ability to delegate tasks effectively
