As Chef de Cuisine, you will lead our bustling kitchen operations, combining your high-end culinary expertise and large-scale production experience to meet the demands of this diverse and vibrant environment.

What you will do?:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the production kitchen
  • Develop innovative menu concepts that align with current food trends and guest preferences
  • Provide strong leadership, mentorship and hands-on training to foster a high-performing, motivated team
  • Set and uphold exceptional food standards through efficient systems and processes
  • Assist in managing department budgets, food costs, utilising IT systems to drive efficiency and profitability
  • Managing performance and labour costs for permanent and casual kitchen staff
  • Championing on-site food safety and HACCP accreditation

More about you:

  • Proven experience managing large-scale kitchen operations
  • Experience across either high end restaurants (hatted preferred) and/or functions
  • A strong track record of leading and inspiring diverse culinary teams
  • Expertise in menu development, stock management, and cost control
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering business outcomes
  • Relevant culinary qualifications
  • Proficiency in business technology, including stock control systems, spreadsheets, and accounting software
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage at all levels
