German Inn, a popular and long-established venue in the heart of Hahndorf, is seeking a full-time Restaurant Manager to lead their vibrant team and help them deliver a top-tier dining experience to locals and tourists alike.
As the German Inn’s Restaurant Manager, you will play a hands-on role in ensuring the smooth and professional operation of the restaurant. Your responsibilities will include:- Overseeing day-to-day operations of the dining area and kitchen, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, functionality, and compliance with health regulations
- Collaborating closely with our chefs to plan and develop seasonal menus and special functions
- Managing stock levels, supplier relationships, and purchasing activities to maintain budget controls
- Monitoring customer satisfaction, handling feedback, and enhancing the overall dining experience
- Leading recruitment, training, and supervision of front-of-house and kitchen staff to uphold service standards
- Taking reservations, greeting guests, and stepping in to assist with service during busy periods
- Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions and inventory
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant setting
- A qualification in Hospitality Management at Bachelor level or equivalent
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
