Support & Maintenance Engineer

Join SICE Pty Ltd as a Support & Maintenance Engineer and play a critical role in the ongoing preventive and corrective maintenance, monitoring, and continuous upgrading of the Operation Management and Control Systems (OMCS) for various infrastructure projects.
This position requires a hands-on approach and collaboration with internal teams to ensure the reliability and efficiency of systems in operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of OMCS and Integrated Operation Management and Control Systems (IOMCS) in operation.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and operators for efficient management of the systems.
- Investigate and rectify issues and defects in the systems using SICE’s Service Management tool.
- Perform root cause analysis of complex problems impacting PLC and sub-systems.
- Assist with the implementation and testing of SICE projects under the support & maintenance scope.
- Manage the installation and deployment of new software releases.
- Perform regression testing for system or application upgrades.
- Create and update internal documentation, protocols, and procedures for system maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in support and maintenance roles within technology systems.
- SQL Certification or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Windows environments and basic skills in Windows administration.
- Experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) or similar Service Management tools is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- ITIL Certification and knowledge of PLC systems are a plus.
