We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team and contribute to our ongoing success.
Role: ChefLocation: Birkdale, QLD
Key Responsibilities- Plan, develop, and cost menus that reflect seasonal availability, Indian cuisine and customer preferences while ensuring quality and consistency across all dishes
- Manage kitchen operations including ordering supplies, overseeing food preparation, portion control, and ensuring efficient workflow during service periods
- Prepare, cook, and present a diverse range of traditional and contemporary Indian dishes, maintaining high standards of flavour, hygiene, and presentation
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on Indian culinary techniques, hygiene protocols, safety regulations, and service consistency
- Maintain compliance with food safety standards by overseeing proper storage, sanitation, and food preservation methods
- Collaborate with management and front-of-house teams to resolve food preparation concerns, implement customer feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement
- Assist in recruitment, scheduling, inventory control, and equipment maintenance as required to support kitchen efficiency and minimise waste

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation
