About the position
Wests Mayfield is currently seeking a Full Time Chef or experienced Cook to join the team. Our catering team work across our Bistro operations and Texas Grill Restaurant. The Texas Grill menu is packed with slow smoked ribs and wings, burgers, pizzas and prime-grade, hand-trimmed, naturally aged steaks and classic steakhouse sides and of course desserts. Our Bistro menu has all our club favourites with weekly specials that give you variety. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Ensure prep sheets are completed
- Preparation of high quality food during service
- Assist other sections when required
- Cleaning of work areas
- Assist with the set-up and close down of service
- Ensure food is stored to hygiene standards
- Ensure appropriate disposal of waste
About you
We are seeking an energetic team player with a passion for food and good service. You pride yourself on presentation & consistency. You will have obtained your Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery or have equivalent experience. You will be available to work nights and weekends and be flexible to assist with our Bistro operations.
