Chef - Newcastle

Kidd & Co Group Pty Ltd in Wollongong NSW, is seeking an experienced, dedicated and qualified full-time Chef to join their dynamic team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and growth in the future.

• Supervise and delegate tasks to kitchen team
• Lead service efficiently and to a high standard
• Set standards and procedures
• Staff training and development
• Safe storage of food supplies
• Maintaining the kitchen clean and organised
• Managing food waste
• Portioning food items
• Adhering to food hygiene standards
• Follow in-house recipes for food preparation and menu item execution
• Maintain par levels and prep lists
• Assist in counting and ordering of stock - ensure the correct levels are maintained

• Proven cooking experience in Italian cookery & pizza making including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook.
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

A remuneration package between $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year plus superannuation will be negotiated depending on skills and experience.
