This well-established Early Years provider operates multiple sites across Melbourne and is currently experiencing a period of rapid growth.
About the Role
The Property and Facilities Manager plays a key role in overseeing the strategic and operational management of properties and facilities. This includes maintaining and optimising existing centres while identifying, acquiring, and developing new sites.
This position demands a combination of strategic property management - such as site selection, lease negotiations, and project coordination - alongside hands-on facilities management, including maintenance, contractor oversight, and regulatory compliance.
Duties
Some of the responsibilities will involve;- Identify new site opportunities
- Liaise with external contacts on new building projects
- Develop a maintenance program for current sites
- Oversee all aspects of facilities maintenance both proactive and reactive
- Negotiate and mange contracts
- Manage budgets
- Previous experience in either Facilities or contracts role is a must.
- Exposure to contract management and negotiation is a must.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of financials and budgets
