Territory Manager
Our client is seeking a Territory Manager to join the Team in Australia. The role will be based in Brisbane, however will require travel to different states to visit customers.
Manage and grow assigned territory, specifically in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore:
- Work independently and with team to meet or exceed target in assigned territory.
ii) Ensure strong pipeline for future years through effective lead generation, customer relationship management, and effective selling strategies.
iii) Lead the technical sales process and development/implementation of sales strategies and objectives.
iv) Qualify and follow-up sales leads generated from promotional efforts.- Implement an effective follow-up system for inquiries and sales, and nurture leads to the point of sales closure.
vi) Develop and communicate weekly, quarterly, yearly results and forecasts; work with other leaders to address concerns and continually shape strategies to gain market leadership globally.
Responsibilities: Responsible for selling Environmental products and working actively in assigned territory to ensure strong financial performance, meeting or exceeding sales targets. Developing sales and support strategies in the assigned territory, acquiring and analyzing sales and market information, assisting in promotion efforts, advising management on market and sales strategies.Managing relationships and account plans for domestic and international accounts. Developing and proposing plans for managing assigned territory and executing those plans. Proposing initiatives to grow the clients presence and sales in Australia and secure management support for those plans.
Contribute to the training, development, and coaching of the clients direct and indirect salespeople as required.
Skills and Expertise Required: An individual in this role requires either a Masters or Bachelors degree in environmental science, plant physiology, biology, environmental physics or related field. Seven (7) years of proven successful field sales experience in high end capital equipment to researchers in academic, government, and commercial companies.Minimum of five (5) years experience selling and supporting products for applications related to Environmental products through successful workshops and customer visits.
