About the Positions Available
Due to an increase in production requirements, TFI is seeking a QA officer/s to join the team at our Bourke Facility. All positions available are full time, 40 hours per week, and production runs Monday to Friday over two shifts.The position of Quality Assurance Officer is primarily responsible for, ensuring that the Thomas Foods International (TFI) HACCP based Quality System is implemented within TFI Plant Departments.
The QA Officer must monitor production to ensure the products meet yield targets and customers’ specifications, providing employees with support and training in this area and ensure all the WH&S requirements are met as per TFI Company Policies and relevant acts.
Customer quality requirements must be met, along with legislative and regulatory requirements to QA, WHS, Approved Arrangement standards. The TFIB plant services the Domestic & Export markets
Pay ConditionsStarting Salary $65,000.00 + experience
Additional training required will be provided by TFIB.TFIB offers excellent working conditions and remuneration
The QA Officer Role/tasks available include, but are not limited to: Key Responsibilities
- Accountabilities
- Pre operational Hygiene inspection
- Check Personal Equipment’s meets SOP requirements
- Meat Hygiene Assessment inspection
- Process Monitoring inspection
- AUSMEAT standard officer checks
- Temperatures control checks
- Test weights, morning and afternoon. Check signed by scales operator
- Check inserts
- Process flows
- Witness & monitor calibration for CL result
- Witness & monitor calibration of metal detectors
- Collect water samples for chlorine testing
- Assist with internal audits
- Customer Complaints follow up
- General Responsibilities
- Production Hygiene and Sanitation Monitoring.
- Process & product Monitoring.
- Meat Hygiene Assessment of Production.
- Product conformance with AUS-MEAT and customer quality standards including offal.
- Adhere to DAWE requirements
- Support the WHS responsibilities of their department by assisting in the identification of hazards and the implementation of risk controls
- Responsible for the timely & correct correlation of relevant data.
