The Role:

As a Mid to Senior Structural Engineer, you will take on an important role within the team, providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of concept and schematic designs for various structures, overseeing projects from initial concept through to site completion.
  • Conduct detailed analysis, design computations, and oversee the preparation of documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
  • Perform peer reviews of detailed calculations, technical reports, and design concepts to maintain high-quality deliverables.
  • Coordinate designs with other project team consultants, architects, and clients to ensure seamless integration and project success.
  • Provide financial oversight of projects, ensuring they are delivered within budget and on schedule.
  • Develop and maintain schedules for assigned work scope and associated deliverables, ensuring timely project completion.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor works undertaken, check conditions, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in structural engineering, applying innovative approaches to your work.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the Australian market.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in structural engineering.
  • A proven track record of successful planning, concept, and detailed design of varied projects.
  • Strong technical skills coupled with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • The ability to develop and nurture internal and external relationships.
  • Experience working in challenging environments and managing complex projects.
