The Technology Community Manager is a brand new role created to play a key role in driving operational excellence, breaking down productivity barriers, and fostering a vibrant tech culture. As a close liaison to our Chief Technology Officer in Melbourne, you’ll be at the heart of our technology operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly, from business planning to execution.
In this pivotal role, you’ll act as the bridge between the CTO and senior technology leaders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across all levels while taking charge of the technology business planning cycle, managing projects and driving initiatives that increase technology engagement and innovation.As an organization that highly values on fostering a collaborating culture, this role will be championing that across our technology team to inspire innovation and growth.

You’ll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, and can communicate clearly and effectively at all levels of the business.
As our Community Manager- Technology, your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
- Orchestrating the annual planning cycles, managing key deliverables like board reports, productivity analysis, KPI dashboards, and strategic planning documents.
- Planning and executing flagship technology events, such as engineering showcases and tech town halls, to foster community engagement and innovation.
- Designing and implementing robust feedback mechanisms for technology leadership, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across tech teams.
- Aligning resource planning, status updates, and forecasts across technology teams, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources.
- Coordinating financial and business planning cycles within the technology division to ensure alignment with overall corporate objectives.
- Leading financial planning and resource estimations to provide valuable insights for strategic decision-making, in sync with the business calendar.
- Driving the adoption and optimization of core operations tools (e.g., Jellyfish) to improve operational efficiency and streamline processes.
- Developing and maintaining advanced productivity dashboards to offer actionable insights on performance, allocations, and key metrics.
- Partnering with senior technology leadership to support strategic forecasting, business case development, and out-of-cycle proposals.
- Proven track record in a senior technology operations or technology people leadership role at scale.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning and resource management within a technology context.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Deep understanding of technology trends and their impact on business operations.
