Marketing Operations Planner
  • 12 month fixed term role
  • Manage the entire print production process and the creation of key marketing materials for the Woolworths Group
  • Sydney based role with hybrid flexible environment

The Opportunity

This role is responsible for the end-to-end print production and logistics of key marketing materials, including weekly in-store marketing packs and national, standalone, and local catalogues. This involves managing production, distribution, and financials for approximately 5.8 million households and 1,000 Woolworths supermarkets on a weekly basis.

Additionally, the role provides production support for marketing initiatives and projects, encompassing artwork consolidation, printer briefing, quoting, and production oversight.

What you'll do
  • National and Local Catalogue Production: Planning the print and production schedules for both national (5.8 million copies across 13 versions) and local catalogues, aligning with marketing campaigns.
  • Communication and Timeline Management: Communicating print and distribution timelines to suppliers and marketing teams, proactively managing potential impacts on milestones.
  • Distribution and Logistics: Maintaining and improving the delivery process to ensure timely arrival of catalogues and in-store marketing packs nationwide.
  • In-Store Marketing Support: Supporting projects, rollouts, and activations, including point-of-sale (POS) briefing, production, and logistics.
  • POS and Signage Production: Producing permanent POS and signage solutions.
  • Budgeting and Reporting: Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for in-store marketing, catalogues, and national advertising.

  • Exceptionally organised with an eye for detail
  • An understanding of Adobe Creative Suite advantageous
  • A proven track record managing end to end projects
