The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance this role will be responsible for preparing month end reports, monthly variance forecast and annual budget analysis and reconciliation.
You'll be working closely with a diverse range of local and international stakeholders on a range of topics from accounting to financial systems support, and other ad-hoc analysis projects as required. The main responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Data handling and reviewing key data metrics to provide profitability analysis including commentary of variances arising from current forecast and annual Budget.
- Review market results to understand variances between actuals and forecast, working with local finance heads as required
- Detailed review of market balance sheets for correct accounting treatments.
- Review monthly market forecast submissions to understand forecast vs. prior forecast variances.
- Work with local finance heads to ensure monthly forecast submissions loaded accurately and on a timely basis
- Prepare key forecast deliverables and ensuring all reporting deadlines are met
- Preparation of weekly sales reports and bi-weekly sales reports
- Provide assistance to local finance heads on a range of issues from accounting advice to financial systems support
- Liaise with APAC finance teams to ensure information is presented in an effective manner and deadlines are met
- Other ad hoc analysis projects as required
Your Profile
To be successful in this role you will be part/fully CPA qualified with a minimum of 4 years' experience. Ideally you will have previous experience in an analytically focussed role and be eager to continue to learn and grow. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the drive and ambition to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
