Component testing and fault finding.
Assembly and testing of machines.
Fault diagnosis on client machines by remote connection.
Provide electrical support to the rest of the Engineering Team.
Supervise the installation (mechanical and electrical) and commissioning of machines.
Deliver user training.
Undertake planned maintenance.
Layout of electrical panels, installation of circuitry on substations, switchgear, cabling systems and motor control centers and MV switchgear.
Complete documentation to a high standard, including the writing of service reports.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, understanding electrical systems, and using various electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
Knowledge of Codes and Regulations: Familiarity with local and national electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work performance.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues.

Salary: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
As an Electrical Engineering Technician in an electrical maintenance and servicing company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of the company's electrical projects and maintenance services. Working under the supervision of electrical engineers and experienced technicians, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.Your technical expertise and attention to detail will contribute to ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of electrical systems. Design of control panels and systems.
Key Responsibilities:Assisting Electrical Engineers and experienced Electricians in the below mentioned tasks:
Prepare wiring diagrams.Component testing and fault finding.
Assembly and testing of machines.
Fault diagnosis on client machines by remote connection.
Provide electrical support to the rest of the Engineering Team.
Supervise the installation (mechanical and electrical) and commissioning of machines.
Deliver user training.
Remote connections to diagnose problems.
Estimating materials costs and quantitiesUndertake planned maintenance.
Layout of electrical panels, installation of circuitry on substations, switchgear, cabling systems and motor control centers and MV switchgear.
Complete documentation to a high standard, including the writing of service reports.
Represent the company as a professional, assisting the customer wherever possible.
Requirements:
Education: An associate degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field is preferred, but relevant work experience or certifications may also be considered.
Experience: Previous experience in electrical maintenance, repair, or installation is advantageous.Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, understanding electrical systems, and using various electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
