Job Overview.
Join Mars United Commerce as an Account Manager, where you'll be at the forefront of planning, executing, and managing sampling and demonstration campaigns, and help to bring to life experiential activations. Reporting directly to the Activations Director and collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners, you'll ensure seamless campaign delivery to meet client objectives.
Core Responsibilities.
Project Management:- Translate proposals and scope of work into actionable plans, identifying necessary stakeholders for project execution.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Client Service, Creative, Finance) to bring projects to life.
- Develop rollout plans and timelines for activations, ensuring alignment with project briefs and scopes.
- Coordinate with the Activations Director to share campaign asset requirements and ensure accurate inventory planning.
- Serve as the key point of contact for third-party suppliers, overseeing production of assets from briefing to delivery.
- Utilise planning tools to create store lists, schedules, roles/rates, and run sheets for events and sampling activations.
- Facilitate training sessions for staffing with support from the Talent team and Account Service lead.
- Assist in purchasing kit equipment, consumables, print production items, and freighting items interstate.
- Manage compliance with campaign timelines and budgets, maintaining cost efficiencies and seeking out cost-saving opportunities.
- Obtain third-party production supplier quotes and ensure feasibility with proposed campaign budgets, under the management of the Activations Director.
- Assist finance and Client Service in reconciling your job budgets.
- Ensure all campaign purchases receive purchase orders from the internal finance team.
- Assist with all areas of marketing and sampling campaigns, providing hands-on support.
- Support production team in ensuring campaign compliance and communication with ambassadors.
- Conduct venue calls pre- and post-campaign to confirm activity success.
- Assist the staffing team in managing talent.
- Manage an Account Coordinator and support their development.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in brand activation
- The position requires a relevant tertiary qualification plus at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification work experience or a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Key participant in developing strategic proposals for clients.
- Exceptional relationship building skills
