The Nystart Collective PTY LTD (ABN: 67687175382) is looking for a full time Chef and Cook for their busy restaurant in Terrigal, NSW 2260

With a focus on quality produce, bold spices and beautifully presented dishes, Little Miss offers an energetic yet welcoming dining experience that attracts both loyal locals and holidaymakers year-round

To be considered for the role you need to have a relevant industry qualification or at least 1-2 years' experience in a similar position.

• Must display excellent prep, cooking and plating skills
• Experience with Greek or Mediterranean cuisine highly desirable
• Strong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes
• Demonstrate a keen Interest in growing food trends and techniques
• Ability to contribute to menu planning, food cost estimation and food cost control
• Work with the management team on food preparation and seasonal menu planning
• Stock ordering
• Labour cost control and assist the owners with rostering
• A sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS and able to explain and enforce
• Immaculate presentation and grooming
• Ability to handle large service numbers
• Above average customer care and service skills
• Training of junior team members on cooking techniques and procedures
• Assist with staff hiring and training
• Experience on grill and pan section highly desirable
• Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
• Discuss customer requirements and request with the frost on house team
• Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
