Role Summary:We are seeking a skilled ICT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless support and optimized workflow systems in a secure and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the resolution of system problems by diagnosing, testing, and troubleshooting issues, focusing particularly on the integration of our digital media transformation platforms.
- Develop and refine operational procedures and application software, tailoring guidance and training to suit the needs of a technology-driven environment in criminal justice and other sectors.
- Evaluate and resolve technical challenges involving software, hardware, and network systems, ensuring alignment with digital security protocols and system configurations unique to our service offerings.
- Optimize the performance of desktop environments, database systems, and security frameworks to support the capture and management of digital evidence.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure by identifying opportunities for enhancement in line with emerging technologies and organizational objectives.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support the development and deployment of new digital tools and systems.
- Maintain detailed documentation and system logs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Provide expert advice and support in the configuration and maintenance of system security measures, reflecting the high stakes of managing sensitive digital evidence.
Compensation: An annual salary range of $80,000-$90,000 plus superannuation, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Required Qualifications:- A bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICT support role, preferably in an environment dealing with digital media or data management.
