Job Description- Design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure
- Leading and mentoring a team of IT professionals
- Project management and delivering on key technology initiatives
- Ensuring IT infrastructure aligns with organisational strategies and objectives
- Managing vendors and third-party relationships
- Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Continuously improving infrastructure performance and reliability
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Infrastructure Engineer should have:
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Specific skills and exposure to: Microsoft Windows Server Operating systems; Linux Operating Systems; VMware virtualisation stack; Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Experience assessing patching requirements, coordinating deployments, testing and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Experience supporting Microsoft SQL and Oracle Databases
- Experience migrating systems from on-premises to the cloud
- Experience developing and utilising Enterprise patching solutions to enable automation.
- Experience with utilising PowerShell or similar scripting language
- Experience supporting digital systems and platforms such as Oracle Financials or similar, Sharepoint and Microsoft 365.
- Experience and knowledge of working within the ACSC Essential 8/ISM and PSPF.
