About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide high quality dental assisting services to eligible adult and paediatric patients.
- Provide supervision, leadership, direction and support to your team of dental assistants to ensure the efficient operations of the clinic.
- Maintain responsibility for infection control in the clinical environment.
- Assist in the management and operations of the clinic through effective planning, organisation, monitoring and evaluation of the activities of dental assistants.
- Actively participate in recruitment and selection processes.
- Manage performance appraisal and staff development programs for dental assistants.
- Assist in the coordination of clinical training programs for students.
