About Aphex:

At Aphex (https://www.aphex.co/), we believe the best way to improve construction delivery is to give people the tools and time to do their jobs. That's why we're on a mission to transform how major projects plan, communicate and track their work.

Forget the endless spreadsheets, whiteboards, and outdated systems—our tools bring clarity and visibility to every corner of the project, empowering anyone on site to plan and communicate with ease.

Our customers are the industry's giants—building the tunnels, roads, bridges, and skyscrapers that define our cities. Our users are the engineers and project managers who breathe life into these projects. We're at an exhilarating phase of our journey.
Since launching in the UK in 2019, our platform has become the preferred solution for infrastructure and major construction projects across the UK. We've also successfully launched and captured that same position in Australia and New Zealand, with most of these three countries' infrastructure projects now operating on Aphex.

Building on this success, we're strategiclly targeting expansion into new markets, including Europe and Asia, creating an incredibly exciting opportunity for someone to join at this pivotal moment. We've found strong product-market fit, proven our ability to scale internationally, and are now focused on building out our go-to-market team and expanding our product footprint.

Join us as we tackle an industry contributing to around 10% of global GDP, yet has struggled with productivity gains. It's a massive opportunity, and we need your expertise.

The Role:

This is your chance to step into a pivotal role as the second Account Manager in our APAC go-to-market team. You'll be joining a high-performing APAC team of 6 sales and customer success professionals. It's perfect for someone with a deep understanding of construction, eager to leverage their experience in a fast moving and rewarding environment.

At Aphex, we believe deeply that we are in the business of successful construction project delivery. As an Account Manager, you'll embrace this philosophy - focusing first on helping projects succeed, which naturally results in enterprise growth and expansion opportunities.

If you've been in the trenches of construction, managing projects, leading teams, and coordinating complex operations, and now you're ready to bring that expertise to a new frontier - this role is for you. We've crafted and refined our playbooks to ensure that you can transition smoothly into a strategic account management role, with the support and structure needed to excel.

For someone motivated and ready to make an impact, it's the perfect moment. You'll have the opportunity to influence major infrastructure delivery across Australia, working with the country's top contractors. While initially focused on Australian accounts, there's clear potential to expand your scope to our growing APAC customer base as we continue to scale.

We've built the foundation - now there's plenty of open field for you to run in.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own post-enterprise growth strategy and execution for key T1/2 Australian accounts
  • Drive our value-first approach: project success → company success → Aphex growth
  • Build and nurture relationships with senior champions across customer organisations
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with executive stakeholders
  • Generate expansion opportunities within enterprise customers
  • Partner with and guide customer success managers to deliver great onboarding and activation for customers
  • Help customers establish consistent operating processes across their projects
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations that resonate with the folks running projects
  • Adapt and iterate your version of our proven playbooks
  • Consistently achieve quarterly and annual expansion targets
