What You'll Do
Join our Digital Tools and Content Squad as a Business Analyst and play a key role in shaping the future of our digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders across various projects, utilising your expertise to analyse, document, and translate business needs into effective technology solutions within an agile framework.
- Requirements Elicitation and Analysis: Gather, analyse, and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders across different business units.
- User Story Development: Translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories, including personas, acceptance criteria, and testable scenarios (functional and non-functional).
- Backlog Management: Collaborate with the product team to build and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the product strategy and prioritisation of user needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Solution Assessment: Evaluate potential solutions, considering user needs, business outcomes, and technical feasibility.
- Agile Practices: Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Proven Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex environments, with a demonstrated ability to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyse complex information, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.
- Agile Methodology: Experience working in agile environments, with a solid understanding of agile principles and practices.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Jira/Confluence or similar tools for project management and documentation.
