To maintain this current degree of excellence we now seek to employ a suitably skilled Engineering Manager that will aid machining productivity and production development for our Australian service partners.
Our prestigious enterprise is seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Manager. Be it that you will be running the everyday production of the workshop- specialised knowledge in the use of Multi-axis CNC machinery (specifically that of STAR and MIYANO) is essential.A solid understanding of setting, operating and running Sub Spindle Lathes is imperative. It is crucial to have design programming knowledge in Master Cam and Fusion 360 software.
What to expect as your duties and responsibilities:
Reporting to the Directors, your new role will see you working as the Production Manager in a metal manufacturing business on day shift. The business is a heavily automated environment and uses a variety of modern computer-controlled equipment.
Work commences at 7am and you will work 5 days a week with weekends off. 40 Hours per week.
What you'll need to succeed:Have a longstanding experience as a Senior Production Manager with at least 8 years’ experience in the CNC machining industry. You should have a solid understanding of the production line in this field- and should a able to independently lead our team to complete production from A to Z.
Primarily you will need experienced metal machinist and trade qualified Fitter & Turner with broad CNC Programmer experience with 8 axis CNC machines and sliding head auto lathes.Must be able to plan production schedules including the output and quality of jobs.
Must be able to work out the cost and labour requirements for each job.
Must be able to devise and the embed production plans for the entire business.
A clear understanding of quality control measures needed to monitor the entire businesses production.
Be completely comfortable running the maintenance program for all machinery including parts and tools.
Be able to devise, manage and make changes to ensure production output and costs are on budget.
You will be able to produce production reports for management
Ensure the production floor adheres to the companies occupation health and safety policy
Leader, someone who is confident in delignating, while being respectful.
