The Role
This organisation is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Medical Receptionist to join their team on a full-time basis, covering maternity leave with the possibility of transitioning to a part-time position for the right candidate. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in Shenton Park, with occasional coverage required at the Myaree Clinic.
Key details:
- Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
- Immediate start
- Responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients and clinicians.
- Booking, managing, and ensuring appointments run smoothly.
- Maintaining accurate patient medical records and ensuring all documentation is updated promptly.
- Processing billing for private patients, DVA, NDIS, and third parties such as workers' compensation and insurance claims.
- Undertaking administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, mailing documentation, and receipting parcels and returned items.
Your Profile
Our client is looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic medical setting and can contribute to creating a positive experience for patients. Ideal candidates will possess:
- Proven experience as a medical receptionist, ideally in a specialist practice.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in-person, over the phone, and in writing.
- Full working rights / a valid visa with no time restrictions.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Capability to multitask and work independently or within a team environment.
- A positive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
- A proactive and thorough work ethic.
- Preferred experience with NDIS and Cliniko.
- Reliable and punctual with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
