AMEK Engineering is a national company providing first class building services to the commercial sector. We are multi trade specialists that in addition to HVAC, also offer our expertise in Electrical, Fire and BMS (Building Management Systems).

Due to growth in our business, we are recruiting for an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team on a full-time basis

YOUR RESPONSIBLITIES:
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance of air conditioning systems and plant equipment.
  • Carry out breakdown service, installations and quoted project works.
  • Preparation and submission of service reports.
  • Log detailed reports of work performed in a field management app
  • Ensure client expectations are met.
ABOUT YOU:
  • Experienced in servicing major mechanical plant and equipment.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of Chillers and large central plant (ideal)
  • Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and various control systems (ideal)
  • Honest and Reliable
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • OHS&E knowledge and understanding.
  • Diagnosis and fault-finding skills.
  • Be willing to travel inter/intra state when required
  • Be available for planned and unplanned overtime

REQUIREMENTS
  • Have your own basic hand tools, cordless tools and testing instruments
  • Full ARCtick License (RAC01) or Cert II Split Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems
  • ‘C’ Class Driver’s License
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Working at Heights Ticket (Within 2 years)
  • National Police Clearance (within 3 months)
  • Ability to obtain Working with Children check
  • Right to work in Australia
Remuneration is negotiable by experience and will be discussed with you upon successful application.
