Menumiz is expanding its operations in Australia, beginning in Melbourne, and is searching for a dynamic individual to drive sales growth and lead their Business Development (BD) team.

Your New Role:

  • Sales Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a sales strategy to penetrate the Australian market, starting with Melbourne. Lead and inspire a team of BD professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Team Growth & Optimisation: Manage and develop two existing BD team members, with a focus on optimising performance and expanding the team as the business scales.
  • Market Expansion: Engage directly in business development activities when necessary, particularly during the initial stages. Drive team efforts to rapidly grow Menumiz's presence in the Australian market.
  • Product Positioning & Pricing: Work closely with the leadership team to shape pricing strategies and refine how Menumiz communicates its unique value proposition to potential clients.
  • Customer Acquisition: Focus on acquiring and onboarding new customers, driving towards key milestones that will trigger salary increments.
  • Tech-Driven Sales: Utilise Menumiz’s bespoke CRM and other tech tools to streamline sales processes, ensuring data-driven decision-making and efficient operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven track record in sales leadership, ideally within the hospitality tech sector.
  • Experience working in hospitality technology companies such as POS, EFTPOS, payment services, booking, or food delivery within the last 5 years, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role. Candidates with backgrounds in companies like Zomato, Deliveroo, or other SaaS-based hospitality services are highly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of the restaurant and hospitality industry, including the ability to identify and respond to industry drivers.
  • A solid grasp of SaaS sales, with the ability to lead a tech-driven sales process.
  • Experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • A passion for marketing is a bonus, as you will influence how Menumiz positions itself in the market.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
  • A hands-on approach to business development with the ability to lead by example.

What's on offer:

Basic Salary: $140,000 AUD + Super

Performance-Based Salary Increases:

Bonus:

  • 100 customers milestone: 10K bonus (one-off)
  • 300 customers milestone: 10K bonus (one-off)
  • 500 customers milestone: 20K Bonus (one-off) – at this point, the base salary will be increased to 150K
  • 800 customers milestone: 10K Bonus (one-off)
  • 1200 customers milestone: 20K Bonus (one-off) – at this point, the base salary will be increased to 160K
