Hours : Flex between 7am to 6pm

Remuneration : $145 - $160ph +Superannuation Your new role The Building Assessor (Builders) is responsible for the assessment of knowledge and experience to support the organisation's administration of the building practitioners registration scheme under the Building Act 1993.This includes undertaking knowledge and experience assessments, including face-to-face interviews, and providing sound recommendations on suitability for registration. In addition, the Knowledge and Experience Assessor provides input into the continuous improvement of the VBA's assessment framework, including contributing to the development, review and improvement of assessment tools, practices and processes.
Practitioner Assessor shall facilitate and participate in peer moderation of assessment practice, tools and documentation.Provide timely and succinct reports to the Team Leader and Manager on operational issues related to knowledge and experience assessment, including recommendations and options for resolution of complex assessment matters.

Consumer and Practitioner Services that align functions around consumer experience, create a single-entry, and tiered approach for all queries and complaints.
Core Regulatory Services with a dedicated Inspectorate to oversee application of the Authority's full suite of regulatory powers, and a bespoke Registration & Licencing Services team which fulfils our core regulatory responsibilities and develops an optimal practitioner lifecycle.
Operational Intelligence that builds on our practitioner intelligence function to ensure intelligence and insights informs and prioritises all activity across Regulatory Operations What you'll need to succeed To be successful in obtaining this opportunity, you'll hold extensive understanding and experience of the building industry , the high-risk involved, how the permit-process operates. You will also need: Domestic Builder Unlimited - mandatory , this accounts for 70% of volume
Commercial Builder Unlimited - highly regarded
