Due to a pipeline of exciting upcoming projects, Rix Asset Maintenance are looking for an ambitious and motivated Project Engineer to join our QLD Team.
A background in slope stabilisation and/or road construction and civil works is an advantage.
Reporting to the Project Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Project delivery according to budget, program and specific project objectives
- Claims, variations in time and further contractual obligations
- Commercial and contractual reporting
- Ensuring compliance of the works with technical specifications, applicable legislation, approvals and standards
- Conduct and administer overall job planning and programming including short range and intermediate programmes for approval
- Prepare and revise contract requirements for OHS, QA, programming & Environmental requirements
- Ensure all project Quality Assurance, OH&S and Environmental requirements are documented and implemented
- Project Engineer experience in ground engineering/civil projects,
- BSc in Civil Engineering
- Understanding of MRTS specifications
- Understanding of civil road works
- Commercial and contractual acumen
- Previous Australian experience
- Proven ability to communicate effectively to drive positive outcomes with key stakeholders
- Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills
- Have practical, hands on approach
- Exceptional understanding of OHS legislation, principles, and practice
- medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.
