The Role:
We’re seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Product Manager in the PayTo product team as a key contributor to scaling the product such that it meets its market potential. You will be deeply involved in the ideation, development and execution of PayTo product initiatives where you will deliver on the roadmap, and work cross-functionally to ensure successful product execution.As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of PayTo and improving our users' experience. This will involve significant external engagement with AP+’s participants and PayTo stakeholders.
PayTo is an account-to-account product running on the New Payments Platform (NPP). It will replace Direct Debit, and has applications in B2B payments, eCommerce payments, Superannuation and more.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify areas of friction with the product's operation and unpick, collaborate and resolve discrete customer problems.
- Produce the technical Product documentation and business analysis for Change Requests.
- Work with banks, payment service providers and merchants to publish and influence customer experience, dispute management, and reporting practices for the product.
- Engage with key internal & external stakeholders (e.g. regulators, industry bodies, financial institutions, and service providers) on specific topics or issues relating to PayTo.
- Work with NPP participating organisations and key stakeholders on use cases that PayTo will support in migrating DE volumes to the NPP.
- Oversee the review, analysis, and development of product data for PayTo.
- Manage the High-Risk Merchant exemption process including engaging with Initiating Participants.
- Draft new product collateral and updating existing product collateral in collaboration with key stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Marketing, and Commercial.
- Prepare content for bilateral and multilateral meetings with Participants and PayTo stakeholders as well as being the PayTo representative at these sessions when required.
Proposed Position Requirements are:
- Robust experience in product management/product strategy/ stakeholder management roles within the financial services/ payments industry.
- Significant experience owning and leading pieces of work from inception to delivery.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate and partner with complex stakeholder groups.
- Display robust skills with regards to commercials.
