About the role
A Junior Engineer at FSC is responsible for performing design, analysis, and project management tasks under the mentorship and supervision of Senior Engineers. You will work with our clients and other FSC team members to plan, deliver and hand over projects throughout Victoria.
- Your daily tasks will vary and may include:
- Perform design, analysis, and calculations for engineering projects
- Prepare design documents, technical reports, and drawings with minimal supervision
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely and accurate project delivery
- Contribute to project planning, resource allocation, and scheduling
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders
- Continuously enhance technical knowledge and skills
- You will be a motivated and proactive engineer with the right combination of energy and a commitment to learning, bring your perspective and skills to diverse projects, and have an ambition to design your own career path.
You will also have:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field
- At least 2 years of relevant engineering experience
- Member of Engineers Australia (preferable)
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable engineering standards and codes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Practitioner of relevant design software packages applicable to their discipline area
This is a full-time position offering a salary range between $70,000 and $80,000 per year commensurate with skills and experience.
