Senior HR Advisor
Rimkus is a worldwide provider of engineering and technical consulting to corporations, insurance companies, law firms, and government agencies. Rimkus experts specialise in forensic consulting, dispute resolution and construction management services, solutions for the built environment, and human factors support for the consumer, industrial, and healthcare industries.
Rimkus is expanding its Asia-Pacific operations and is seeking an HR Advisor in Sydney.
The Role
The Senior HR Advisor is responsible for supporting the teams across the APAC region, working closely with managers across the region to build strong relationships. You will lead the transactional day-to-day HR advisory support, including advising on employee relations matters, such as performance management, organisational changes and probation management.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead the transactional day-to-day HR advisory.
- Advising on employee relations matters including performance
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the APAC region.
- Work closely with the HR team to manage employee changes including
- Model and demonstrate constructive working relationships and information
- Keep abreast of legislative information across all States and interpret
- Interpreting relevant policies, industrial instruments, and legislation to
stakeholders on a broad range of people and culture topics. Being the first
point of contact.
- Assist the HR APAC Manager with operational projects/requirements.
- Assisting with monthly APAC payroll along with Payroll Manager on any
- Reporting, audit and analysis relating to employee entitlements and work
- Completion of HR projects as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or another related subject such as Law, Psychology and/or CIPD qualification or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in applying knowledge of employment legislation, and agreements, as well as policies, procedures, and best
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and develop solutions to meet business needs.
