The Opportunity

We are seeking an Insurance Client & Administration Support to join our Melbourne HIAIS Team, which specialises in the delivery of best-in-class risk management solutions for residential construction clients including manufacture and suppliers.

We have an extensive presence across Australia, with representation in each State capital and an extensive regional branch network.

This is the perfect role for someone who is looking to kick start or grow their insurance career in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Who are Aon and HIA?

HIA Insurance Services (HIAIS) is a specialist insurance broker, providing insurance products and risk advice to the residential building industry. Formed in 1984, HIAIS is as a joint venture between two leaders in their respective industries, Aon and the Housing Industry Association (HIA).

Our joint venture provides us with the unique opportunity to leverage the risk and insurance expertise of Aon, with the HIA's deep knowledge of the housing industry.

What The Day Will Look Like
  • Provide a high level of client service to industry professionals
  • Assist the Senior Broker with the day to day management of client insurance policy renewals, endorsements and domestic building insurance
  • Maintain strong relationships with industry and internal stakeholders
  • Upsell and cross sell of relevant insurance products for an existing portfolio
  • Communicate with customers via phone and face to face meetings and through timely action of clients requests

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Our ideal candidate will be passionate about client service delivery and have an interest in either establishing or growing their insurance broking career.

Additionally you will relate to the following:

  • Experience providing high level customer service
  • Highly motivated and proactive approach to your work and portfolio
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills to meet key deadlines and prioritise work
  • Willingness to obtain a Tier 1 – Insurance Broking (we can support the time and cost for this)
