What you'll do
  • WooliesX are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with a background in mobile testing. This role is in the Loyalty domain with a squad focusing on building the right foundations for mobile applications.
  • Candidates must have Australian Citizenship or be Permanent Residents with local experience.
  • Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to develop a strong understanding of the systems and testing objectives.
  • Design, create, execute, and analyse manual and automated tests for sprint and regression testing.
  • Ability to write clear bug reports quickly and concisely and collaborate with developers to get them fixed
  • Participate in all agile ceremonies. Building good relationships with stakeholders in the organisation
  • Support production deployment of applications and perform “Sanity” checks and PVT/BVT
  • Use data to find underlying quality issues and have strong ownership to drive these to resolution.
What you’ll bring
  • At least 5+ years of Functional and Automation testing experience (ISTQB certification is desirable)
  • At least 3-5 years of Mobile Apps Testing experience
  • Experience in open-source automation tools such as Cypress/XCUITest/Espresso and Cucumber
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented development practices using Java and/or other similar ones
  • Experience with Testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG
  • At least 3-4 years of UI Automation framework experience
  • At least 4-5 years of UI API Automation framework experience
  • Collaborate with Chapter leads to uplift QA practices and testing capabilities in the team
  • Good understanding of Agile & Lean delivery principles
