What you'll do

We're looking for someone with a passion for test engineering who brings a fresh approach and ideas to how to best deliver QA in an agile delivery environment.

This role will be the test engineer for our campaign management platforms, including our media buying platforms, end to end. The role will require establishing test plans and ability to build and execute automated and manual testing. The scope will include user facing components and api services.

You will be highly motivated to drive continual improvement of the software engineering processes, testing methodology and adoption of up to date modern test practices in a multi-disciplined team environment.

Main accountabilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Create and run manual and automated test cases. Contribute to test frameworks, standardised tooling, and methods of collaboration across numerous delivery squads working on a wide range of technology stacks (including CRM, data products, and custom application development).
  • Ensure that the programme meets the appropriate quality standards and functions beyond simply contributing to the test framework.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to develop the release process and integrate with other services.
  • Collaborate with the test automation engineering team to incorporate test automation capabilities in their squads.
  • Provide release reporting to ensure that the release meets the QA metrics.
  • Identify possibilities for continuous improvement in the QA domain and assist with their implementation
What you'll bring
  • Strong UI and API Testing experience
  • Demonstrated experience developing manual and automation scripts to accelerate testing using multiple tools such as Selenium or Cyprus
  • Proven ability to program in scripting languages and write formal test reports
  • Experience working with version control (e.g. git) and CI/CD environments
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices for testing
  • A solid understanding of agile development practices (XP, Scrum, Kanban, etc), how best to understand the tradeoffs around each methodology and how to implement the one best suited to each project and situation.
What you'll experience
  • A global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline - with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business network.
  • Team discounts across our range of Woolworths Group brands you know and love and a robust rewards program that celebrates and incentivises purpose-driven work
  • The opportunity to Salary Sacrifice, enabling team members to purchase selected eligible items or services from pre-tax salary. Can be used for novated leases, superannuation contributions, Qantas Club membership, computing devices etc
