Business Development Manager

With a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering trading technology directly to clients and via our network of strategic partners, we are looking for an experienced Mandarin-speaking Account Manager to join our team to deliver on our continued growth plans.
The Company is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia and has support offices in the UK, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Guatemala, and Bahamas.
The Sales team - Chinese Desk plays a crucial role in shaping the trading environment and our clients' experience. Through client onboarding, up-sale & cross-sale, troubleshooting, and ongoing provision of customer care, we ensure Eightcap's clients consistently enjoy the competitive pricing and trading conditions that have become synonymous with our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new client channels across diverse sectors to drive business growth.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance retail trading volumes and improve client engagement.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while encouraging referrals to expand our network.
- Facilitate client onboarding, address inquiries, and provide ongoing support to enhance the trading experience.
- Engage with clients and third-party providers through face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and social media.
- Convert leads generated by the company and explore new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues across various teams, including sales, customer support, account opening, marketing, finance, engineering, operations, and compliance.
- Align efforts with cross-functional teams to achieve sales objectives.
- Demonstrate the ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines within a team environment.
- Travel interstate as needed to meet clients, organize/attend events, and support business development initiatives.
- Proficiency in both Mandarin and English.
- Creative problem solver who is professional, honest, and a strong team player.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
