Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the coordination and administration of PDL events, including delegate registration, accommodation, and merchandise distribution.
- Support the execution of PDL's brand strategy by ensuring all marketing materials align with brand guidelines.
- Manage and engage with PDL's social media channels, including Facebook, X, and LinkedIn, to enhance member communication and brand visibility.
- Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, including content development and member communication.
- Contribute to the maintenance and updating of the PDL website, ensuring content is current and relevant. (WordPress experience is an advantage).
- Provide administrative support for the marketing team, including proofreading, document formatting and preparing materials for events and campaigns.
- Help with the planning, development and execution of social media content, including designing visuals using tools like Canva and InDesign.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution and communication.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidates:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or Event Management, providing a strong foundation for strategic planning and event execution.
- 1+ years of proven experience particularly in event management, showcasing the ability to handle complex logistics and ensure smooth event operations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, canva, indesign or wordpress.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and website management.
