The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. You’ll

be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment

while maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of café and restaurant-style dishes
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control standards are met
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with regulations
• Assist in stock control, inventory, and ordering when required
• Contribute to menu planning and daily specials
• May support the training and development of junior kitchen staff and apprentices

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a busy café or restaurant kitchen
• Relevant qualifications – at least a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or

• Strong cooking skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks during service
• Excellent understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations
• A team player with good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work some weekend shifts and adapt to changing service needs
• A passion for preparing high-quality food and consistently delivering great customer

experiences
