Qualified Civil Engineer

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified civil engineer to join their team in Dandenong South, VIC 3175. To apply you must have a relevant degree, at least 1 year of experience in civil engineering projects and designs, utilising a variety of civil design packages and excellent English communication skills.

• Design, plan, draft and inspect civil engineering projects during construction
• Provide appropriate certificate after inspection of the job, if satisfactory
• Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure conformance to design specifications
• Study engineering drawings and specifications
• Prepare technical deliverables including proposals, reports and construction documentation
• Determine construction methods, materials and quality standards, and drafting and interpret specifications,

• Liaise with internal and external clients and various local government authorities
• Work well with other team members
• Direct engineering activities, ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, or other governmental regulations

• At least 1year of relevant experience
• The ability to manage multiple projects and goals at the same time, whilst working autonomously
• Competent IT skills using Microsoft Word, Excel

Your role will be to provide engineering design, calculations, and site inspection across building development projects. You will have a ‘can do’ attitude and possess strong communication skills to adequately communicate with your team and managers.

• Salary range is $70,000 - $80,000 per annum plus superannuation commensurate with experience
